ZIMMERER is a highly specialised software product for the design of roofs and buildings in timber frame or post and beam construction, and for log houses.

ZIMMERER can be used with Windows-8, -7, -Vista, or -XP.
ZIMMERER is also available as a Web service: as a free demo with randomized measurements, or with own server space and proper measurements for a monthly fee.

An English language version is available on request for evaluation purposes (not fully translated, at this time). A north american version, adapted to imperial units and north american construction methods may follow.

ZIMMERER - just one software for all you construction needs:

• Fast and efficent data entry for standard walls and roofs with various types of dormers: A-Dormer Gabled Dormer Hipped Dormer Shed Dormer Trapezoid Dormer Round Dormer .

• Automatic calcuation of ridges, hips and valleys based on given contour and slope angles for Complex Roofs

• CAD-style processing for every single beam or for joining or cutting beams (e.g. cutouts for windows), to "fine tune" the results of the initial automatic gereration of alle required beams.
  No need for an external CAD-Programme (but you may interface via DXF-files if you wish)

• All plans and graphics required for organising your data and for cutting each beam are included:

  • Outline Scheme: this plan is used to organise and select walls and roofs for the next processing step (e.g. show another plan, show or create a cuttting list or material list, enter a new wall or roof, delete a wall or roof, etc.)

  • 3D-Graphics with several models: wireframe, hidden line detection (ideal for hight resolution prints) or OpenGL-based Rendering (ideal for fast on-screen-graphics)

  • WALLS:
